In this year’s awards, IPRA judges selected 26 winners across 30 categories among 352 entries from 42 countries. The IPRA Grand Prix winner will be announced at the Golden World Awards ceremony to be held in London on November 5, 2010. Last year, Dentsu PR’s campaigns for Iwanami Shoten Publishers and the Japan Dairy Council were awarded top honors in the “Consumer PR – existing product” and “Business-to-business” categories among 342 entries.
“I am very pleased that we could win a Golden World Award for the second consecutive year,” says Shigeki Ishimatsu, President of Dentsu PR.“Since the same campaign also won the 2009 PRSJ Grand Prix, clearly our PR expertise and techniques are recognized both domestically and globally.”
“The dynamics of public relations has this year again been demonstrated as a management resource to improve the performance of business as well as public institutions or NGOs in very different contexts,” observed judging committee chair, Jean´Pierre Beaudoin, IPRA council member for France.
A full list of award winners is posted on the IPRA Web site at www.ipra.org/. Dentsu PR has won eight IPRA Golden World Awards in the past including a Grand Prix award it won in 2005.
